3G Technology

Advances in technology are continually updated. It incorporates new terms we use and consume the services they offer, but sometimes they are unaware. For some time we talk about 3G technology, but what is it?

3G refers to third generation mobile telephony, whose technology allows the transfer of voice and data or data, so we can make a phone call, a video call, or downloaded some Porges, audio or video file, and communicate through instant messaging or via email.

The speed to download any file or program you want to vary by 3Mbits / s, although at first were slower because of the inadequacy of infrastructure. Initially, the technology made use of the frequency spectrum of his predecessor, 2G. Later, operators of these services purchased another different frequency spectrum for the transfer of voice and data 3G.

Japan has been the pioneer in implementing large commercial level of 3G technology. Today, as are some 73 countries offering mobile telephony services through 3G. Ultimately, this is a laptop that works at a speed six times more than that for which it is the traditional voice telephony. Their emergence has meant a real revolution for the world of telecommunications.
